Ayaka Tsuda is an atelierista and Co-Founder & CEO of Migliorare LLC, engaged in developing environments that support learning for children and adults alike.

Working closely with early childhood education settings, her practice is informed by her experience as an atelierista in Reggio Emilia, Italy.

She serves as a visiting professor at Kyoto Women’s University and as an advisor to the Japan Institute for Reggio Emilia Alliance (JIREA). She is also involved in public projects in collaboration with CEDEP, the University of Tokyo, local governments, and educational institutions.

Across Japan, she works with kindergartens, nursery schools, and certified centres for early childhood education and care, offering atelier-based practice and professional development. Her work moves across education, culture, and spatial practice, with a sustained inquiry into how environments shape learning, relationships, and ways of being.

She was supported by the Agency for Cultural Affairs, Japan.

Rudy Orlandini works with early childhood education settings, documenting learning environments and the relationships that emerge within them through film and photography.

Drawing from his experience as a deaf individual, he explores ways of creating environments where diverse people can learn together and form meaningful connections.

He develops projects related to social inclusion, and as Co-Founder & Creative Director of Migliorare LLC, leads its creative direction and visual language.
